Barclays is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compliance Analyst Higher Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Compliance team, where they will work on a variety of tasks to ensure that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience in a financial institution. They should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in relation to Barclays’ operations.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance.
3. Conduct research and analysis to identify any legal and regulatory risks.
4. Monitor the performance of Barclays’ compliance program and provide feedback to management.
5. Maintain and update records of compliance activities.
6. Monitor and review industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements.
7. Provide timely advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance related issues.
8. Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management and regulators.
9. Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
10. Assist in the training and development of staff in relation to compliance matters.
