1. Conduct internal audit activities for the US Markets division, specifically in the areas of Equity and Fixed Income Financing.
2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the equity and fixed income financing business, including regulatory requirements and best practices.
3. Provide critical insights and recommendations to senior management based on audit findings.
4. Identify and assess potential risks and control deficiencies within the business, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
6. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations, and proactively adjust audit procedures as necessary.
7. Conduct thorough and accurate testing of controls and processes, and document findings in audit reports.
8. Communicate effectively with all levels of management and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
9. Participate in departmental initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit processes.
10. Mentor and train junior team members, and provide guidance and support as needed.
11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

13. Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, and ensure timely completion within set deadlines.
14. Act as a representative of Barclays at external events and meetings related to internal audit.
