  2. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services.
  3. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Azure infrastructure and applications.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure services.
  5. Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
  6. Continuously improve system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  7. Stay updated on the latest Azure technologies and best practices, and provide recommendations for adoption.
  8. Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  9. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
  11. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  12. Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
  13. Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on system performance and status.
  14. Contribute to the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  15. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of team goals and strategies.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Azure Cloud Platform: A Site Reliability Engineer At Barclays Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Azure Cloud Platform And Its Services. This Includes Experience With Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, And Monitoring Tools.

  • Experience With Automation Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Automation Tools Like Powershell, Azure Cli, And Terraform. They Should Also Have Experience Building And Maintaining Infrastructure As Code To Improve Efficiency And Reliability In The Azure Environment.
