Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our team at Barclays and lead the transformation of our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system using Amazon Web Services (AWS). As the AWS IVR Transformation - Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable and efficient IVR solution using cutting-edge AWS technologies. Your expertise in both AWS and IVR will be crucial in driving the transformation of our customer experience and improving our overall business operations.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for transforming the IVR system using AWS technologies.
  2. Lead a team of engineers to design, build, test, and deploy the new IVR system.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure that the solution meets the company's needs.
  4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to engineers to ensure high-quality work and continuous improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends, and leverage them to optimize the IVR system.
  6. Proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely resolution to minimize system downtime.
  7. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  8. Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards while designing and implementing the IVR system.
  9. Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of learning and development.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the IVR system to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Aws: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Aws Services, Including But Not Limited To Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Amazon Lambda, And Amazon S3. They Should Also Have Experience With Aws Cloud Infrastructure And Architecture Design.

  • Ivr Development Expertise: The Engineering Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Interactive Voice Response (Ivr) Systems And Experience In Designing And Implementing Ivr Solutions. They Should Be Well-Versed In Ivr Development Tools And Technologies Such As Vxml, Java, And Javascript.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Lead, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills And Experience In Leading Large-Scale Ivr Transformation Projects. They Should Be Able To Manage Timelines, Resources, And Budgets Effectively And Communicate Project Updates To Stakeholders.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Engineering Lead Should Have A Strong Technical Background With Experience In Software Engineering And Development. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Devops Practices To Ensure Seamless Delivery Of Projects.

  • Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Leader, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Stakeholders, And Senior Management. They Should Also Be Able To Motivate And Mentor Team Members To Achieve Project Goals And Deliver High-Quality Solutions.
