As the Application Support Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of application support analysts in providing technical support for critical banking applications.   1. Lead and manage a team of application support analysts to ensure efficient and effective technical support for critical banking applications.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance of the application support team.
  3. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including troubleshooting complex issues and identifying root causes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve the performance and functionality of the supported applications.
  5. Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, including standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  7. Act as a point of contact for escalations from clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the application support function.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  12. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed.
  13. Represent the application support team in meetings and communicate updates and progress to senior management.
  14. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Application Support, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Technical Background And Knowledge Of Various Application Platforms, Such As Java, .Net, And Sql.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.

  • Proven Experience In Managing A Team, Including Providing Guidance, Mentorship, And Performance Evaluations.
