- Lead and manage a team of application support analysts to ensure efficient and effective technical support for critical banking applications.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance of the application support team.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including troubleshooting complex issues and identifying root causes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve the performance and functionality of the supported applications.
- Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
- Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, including standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations from clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the application support function.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed.
- Represent the application support team in meetings and communicate updates and progress to senior management.
- Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Application Support, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Technical Background And Knowledge Of Various Application Platforms, Such As Java, .Net, And Sql.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
Proven Experience In Managing A Team, Including Providing Guidance, Mentorship, And Performance Evaluations.
