Ultrasound Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Baptist Health South Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound imaging procedures and providing patient care. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing quality care to our patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology, along with two years of experience in an acute care setting. You must be ARDMS certified in Sonography and have a valid Florida license. Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound imaging procedures according to established protocols.
2. Provide patient care and follow-up.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Operate ultrasound equipment and document results appropriately.
5. Utilize proper scanning techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
6. Follow safety protocols when performing exams.
7. Maintain patient records and enter data into the electronic health record.
8. Communicate findings to the physician.
9. Maintain ARDMS certification in Sonography.
10. Maintain current Florida license in Ultrasound Technology.
