Ultrasound Technician

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Ultrasound Technician to join the team at Baptist Health South Florida. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for providing imaging services using specialized medical equipment to diagnose and treat patients. You will work closely with the Radiologists and other medical providers to ensure accurate imaging results.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must also be ARDMS certified and have a valid Florida Radiology license. Responsibilities:

1. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images for medical diagnosis.
2. Utilize knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to ensure accuracy of imaging results.
3. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure quality patient care.
4. Record and review patient history and medical data to apply to patient imaging needs.
5. Provide patient instructions and answer patient questions regarding imaging requirements.
6. Maintain and update patient records.
7. Communicate with physicians and Radiologists regarding patient imaging results.
8. Provide support to other members of the medical team.
9. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Maintain and clean equipment.
