Senior Dosimetrist, Radiation Oncology

1. Develop treatment plans for cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
2. Utilize extensive knowledge of radiation physics to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
3. Collaborate with oncologists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
4. Use specialized software and equipment to simulate and plan radiation treatments.
5. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
6. Stay up-to-date on new developments and advancements in radiation therapy planning and techniques.
7. Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients and their families in a clear and compassionate manner.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, dosimetry calculations, and patient progress.
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment.
10. Mentor and train junior dosimetry staff members as needed.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of department processes.
12. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
