Sanitation Technician

Baptist Health South Florida is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sanitation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment while ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and free of hazardous materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others is essential. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience in a sanitation role. Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and free of hazardous materials in accordance with health and safety regulations • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment • Provide detailed cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing • Empty trash containers and replace liners • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies • Inspect equipment for proper functioning • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
