Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field: A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) At Baptist Health South Florida Is Required To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Respiratory Care.
Active State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold An Active State License As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Florida, Or Be Able To Obtain One Within A Specified Timeframe. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Qualified To Practice Respiratory Therapy In The State And Is Up-To-Date On The Latest Regulations And Standards.
Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt): The Candidate Must Be Certified As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc). This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The Nbrc And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Quality Respiratory Care.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting: Baptist Health South Florida Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting For Their Rrt Positions. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Hands-On Experience And Is Familiar With The Challenges And Demands Of The Job.
