Job Description

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Utilization Review to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise in the utilization review process, including pre-authorization of services and concurrent review for inpatient and outpatient services.The successful candidate will have a current active registered nurse license in the state of Florida, a minimum of two years of experience in utilization review and/or case management, and a strong commitment to providing quality patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain current active registered nurse license in the state of Florida.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise in the utilization review process, including pre-authorization of services and concurrent review for inpatient and outpatient services.
  3. Provide quality patient care.
  4. Act in a professional, organized, and customer service-oriented manner.
  5. Work effectively with a variety of healthcare personnel across multiple departments.
  6. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and policies.
  7. Monitor and evaluate patient care standards and effectiveness of clinical services.
  8. Document patient care services and activities in medical records.
  9. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing

  • Current Registered Nurse License In Good Standing In The State Of Florida

  • At Least Years Of Acute Care Nursing Experience
