Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at Baptist Health South Florida. This position requires a compassionate, patient-focused individual who is willing to provide the highest level of care and support to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assessments, treatments, and evaluations of orthopedic patients in a hospital setting.To be successful in this role, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and be knowledgeable in the field of orthopedics. Additionally, you should have a minimum of two years of experience providing nursing care to orthopedic patients in a hospital setting. You should also have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assessments, treatments, and evaluations of orthopedic patients in a hospital setting.
  2. Monitor patient progress and document care plans.
  3. Administer medications and perform physical exams.
  4. Educate patients and family members on orthopedic care and treatments.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient care is coordinated.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant clinical and legal regulations.
  8. Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  9. Participate in professional development activities and continuing education courses.
  10. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Acls Certification

  • Bls Certification

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Florida

  • Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing

  • Demonstrated Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team
