Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: The Candidate Should Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida, As Well As Any Additional Certifications Or Licenses Required By Baptist Health South Florida.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher: A Bsn Or Higher Degree Is Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Training In Nursing.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Nursing Experience In A Clinical Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In A Clinical Setting, Preferably With Experience In Case Management Or Care Coordination.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Case Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Coordinating Care Between Different Healthcare Providers And Communicating With Patients And Their Families. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Insurance Policies: A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Insurance Policies Is Necessary For This Role, As The Case Manager Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That Patients Receive Appropriate And Timely Care Within The Constraints Of Their Insurance Coverage.
