This role will oversee the maintenance and management of our facilities in the northern region, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and up to our high standards.   1. Oversee the maintenance and management of all facilities in the northern region of Baptist Health South Florida.
  2. Ensure that all facilities are safe, efficient, and up to the high standards set by Baptist Health South Florida.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all facilities.
  4. Create and manage a budget for the maintenance and management of facilities.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities are meeting the needs of patients, staff, and visitors.
  6. Supervise a team of facility managers and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  7. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repair services.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in facility management, and implement new strategies as needed.
  10. Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to develop long-term facility improvement plans and strategies.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to facility management and maintenance.
  12. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status of facilities and any issues or concerns.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities team, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  14. Serve as a representative of Baptist Health South Florida to external stakeholders, promoting our commitment to exceptional healthcare services.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the patient, staff, and visitor experience within all facilities in the northern region.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Facilities Operations, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Large Organization Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Experience In Managing A Team Of Facilities Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards Related To Facilities Management, Including Joint Commission And Osha.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
