
Radiation Therapist
Baptist Health South Florida is looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering quality care and strives to make a positive impact on their patients' lives.The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering prescribed doses of radiation to patients receiving radiation therapy treatments. The Radiation Therapist will use a variety of complex and specialized equipment to ensure the accuracy of the radiation treatment and will monitor the patient's responses during the process.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field• Registered in Radiation Therapy with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)• At least five years of clinical experience in radiation therapy• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team• Knowledge of relevant radiation therapy equipment and techniques• Ability to maintain accurate patient treatment records
Responsibilities: • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients receiving radiation therapy treatments • Utilize a variety of complex and specialized radiation therapy equipment to ensure the accuracy of the radiation treatment • Monitor patient responses during the treatment process • Maintain accurate patient treatment records • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team • Ensure compliance with radiation therapy safety protocols and procedures • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of radiation therapy advances and techniques • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to ensure the highest quality of care • Adhere to ethical standards of practice in radiation therapy
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Completion Of An Accredited Radiation Therapy Program
American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification
Current Florida Licensure In Radiation Therapy
Knowledge Of Treatment Planning And Delivery Techniques
