Physical Therapist - OP Rehab Neuro

We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist - OP Rehab Neuro to join our team at Baptist Health South Florida. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for helping patients restore their quality of life through physical rehabilitation. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. The successful candidate should possess a Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, a current Florida Physical Therapy license, and a minimum of three years’ experience in a clinical setting. In addition, the candidate should have expertise in inpatient and outpatient neurological physical therapy and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of patient assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for neurological patients through assessment, evaluation, and treatment.
2. Monitor patient progress to ensure goals are being met and modify treatment plans as needed.
3. Educate patients and their families on the importance of physical therapy and home exercise programs.
4. Communicate with other health care professionals regarding patient care and progress.
5. Document patient data accurately and timely to meet legal, ethical, and professional standards.
6. Remain current with advances in physical therapy treatments and practice standards.
7. Uphold professional standards of practice and ethical behavior.
8. Maintain a safe and organized clinical setting.
