
Physical Therapist
Baptist Health South Florida is looking for a highly qualified Physical Therapist to join our team and help ensure our patients receive the highest level of care. We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate individual who is committed to providing outstanding patient care.The Physical Therapist must possess a degree in Physical Therapy and have a valid and current state license. This individual must be able to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide our patients with the highest quality of care. The Physical Therapist is expected to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure our patients' physical and emotional needs are met. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and be able to think critically and problem solve. A passion for patient care and the ability to keep up to date with the latest advancements in Physical Therapy is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with the state laws and regulations governing the practice of physical therapy.
- Develop treatment plans for each patient based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure safe and effective care for all patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy.
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote self-management.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Make clinical decisions based on patient needs and current best practice.
