Phlebotomist, Laboratory Support

- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Label, process, and prepare blood samples for testing in the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient information and test results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of both patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide a positive experience and alleviate any fears or concerns.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of samples.
- Handle and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Phlebotomist, Laboratory Support Job At Baptist Health South Florida Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Follow Instructions Accurately.
Phlebotomy Certification: A Certification In Phlebotomy From An Accredited Institution Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Training In The Proper Techniques For Drawing Blood And Handling Specimens.
