
Pharmacy Clinical Specialist
We are searching for an innovative and masterful Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to join our team at Baptist Health South Florida. As a leader in the field, the ideal candidate is a highly motivated and experienced professional with an extensive background in clinical pharmacy and medication therapy management.The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist will serve as an expert in the pharmacy operations and services, providing guidance and direction to pharmacists and technicians. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.The ideal candidate will possess a Pharm.D degree, be board certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting. Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist:
- Serve as an expert in pharmacy operations and services, providing guidance and direction to pharmacists and technicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate medication therapy management plans.
- Establish and maintain relationships with medical staff and patient groups.
- Provide education and training for pharmacists and technicians.
- Analyze data and generate reports to ensure proper medication use and compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in research projects and initiatives related to pharmacy operations and services.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmaceuticals and related products and services.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Assist in the development of budgeting, staffing, and inventory management plans.
