1. Work closely with the surgical team to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and available for each procedure.
2. Assist with setting up and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
3. Transport patients to and from the operating room and assist with positioning them on the operating table.
4. Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
5. Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and stored.
7. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
8. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills in the operating room.
9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
