- Perform data analysis and ensure accuracy and integrity of oncology data for Baptist Health South Florida.
- Support physicians and researchers in delivering high-quality patient care by providing accurate and up-to-date oncology data.
- Utilize strong understanding of oncology terminology, coding, and compliance standards to ensure data compliance.
- Maintain and update electronic health records and other databases with oncology data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement in data collection and reporting processes.
- Keep abreast of advancements in oncology treatment and incorporate relevant changes into data management processes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to gather and disseminate accurate oncology data.
- Develop and implement data quality assurance protocols to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in training and educating staff on data collection and reporting processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Contribute to research projects and publications by providing accurate and timely oncology data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to oncology data management.

Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Oncology Data Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Designation From The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra).
Proficient In Cancer Registry Software Such As Elekta Mosaiq, Oncoemr, Or Varian Aria.
Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Hipaa Regulations, And Data Privacy Laws.
