
Occupational Therapist, Cardiac Rehab
At Baptist Health South Florida, we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Cardiac Rehab team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care and be an exceptional team player. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of experience and education to ensure the highest level of patient care.The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering quality occupational therapy services to patients in our Cardiac Rehab program. This includes evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized patient care programs, as well as providing patient and family education.The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a cardiac rehab setting. They must be registered and licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida, and must have a strong working knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation protocols and standards. Furthermore, they must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to providing quality care to our Cardiac Rehab patients. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop and implement individualized patient care programs to meet the needs of Cardiac Rehab patients.
- Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac rehab protocols and standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current occupational therapy trends, protocols, and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Provide compassionate and caring support to patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to patient care plans.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
A Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy
A Master's Degree From An Accredited Occupational Therapy Program
American Occupational Therapy Association (Aota) Certification
Cpr And Bls Certification
Florida Occupational Therapy License
Experience In Cardiac Rehabilitation
