Obstetric OR Tech, Labor and Delivery

We are looking for an experienced Obstetric OR Tech, Labor and Delivery to join the team at Baptist Health South Florida. In this role, you will provide support to the clinical team during labor and delivery procedures in the operating room. Successful candidates must have a thorough understanding of medical terms and procedures and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent • At least two years of experience in the operating room in an obstetric or gynecology setting • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Exceptional attention to detail

Responsibilities: • Assist clinical team in labor and delivery procedures in the operating room • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures • Follow all hospital policies and procedures • Respond to and anticipate patient needs • Maintain a clean and organized operating room • Prepare and maintain medical equipment • Monitor patient vital signs • Provide support to surgical team • Maintain accurate patient records • Administer anesthesia as needed • Monitor patient recovery post-operation • Assist in patient transfer and transport • Respond to emergency situations
