
Nurse Research Coordinator, MCVI Research, FT, 8A-4:30P

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing research projects within our Cardiovascular Institute. - Coordinate and manage research projects within the Cardiovascular Institute.
- Work closely with the MCVI Research team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of research studies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including patients, physicians, and research staff.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop protocols and study designs.
- Monitor and track study progress, including patient enrollment, data collection, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to research protocols and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research activities.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of research staff.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals and regulatory documents.
- Participate in data analysis and interpretation.
- Communicate study progress and results to key stakeholders.
- Stay current with developments in the field of cardiovascular research and apply new knowledge to ongoing studies.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the course of a study.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Research Coordinator Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing To Be Eligible For This Position. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Clinical Nursing Skills And Knowledge, Which Is Crucial For Conducting Research In A Healthcare Setting.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Research Coordination: This Position Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Coordinating Research Projects. This Experience Helps The Candidate To Understand The Research Process, Protocol Development, And Data Collection And Analysis.
Knowledge Of Research Regulations And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Research Regulations And Compliance, Such As Hipaa And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines. This Knowledge Is Essential For Maintaining The Integrity And Ethical Standards Of The Research Process.
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills: As A Nurse Research Coordinator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Research Projects And Communicating With Various Stakeholders. Strong Organizational And Communication Skills Are Necessary To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of Research Projects.
Proficiency In Data Management And Analysis Software: The Candidate Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Using Data Management And Analysis Software, Such As Spss, Excel, Or Redcap. This Skill Is Vital For Collecting, Organizing, And Analyzing Research Data Accurately And Efficiently.
