Nurse Manager, Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and enforce standards of professional nursing practice.
2. Oversee the management of nursing staff in the Emergency Department.
3. Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
4. Monitor patient outcomes and provide feedback to the nursing staff.
5. Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives for nursing staff.
6. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
8. Ensure that all patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
9. Monitor departmental budget and expenditure.
10. Participate in quality improvement activities.
