MRI Technologist

Baptist Health South Florida is looking for an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a leading healthcare organization, working with a team of professionals to provide excellent patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a similar field and be credentialed in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This individual will have a minimum of one year of experience in MRI technology, and will be knowledgeable in the operation of MRI equipment. We are looking for an individual who is personable and able to empathize with our patients. The MRI Technologist must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform MRI scans and evaluations while adhering to safety protocols.
2. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality of images.
3. Prepare patients for scans and guide them through the MRI process.
4. Monitor patient conditions during scan and adjust MRI equipment as needed.
5. Analyze scans and evaluate results for accuracy and completeness.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
7. Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk to patients and other personnel.
8. Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
10. Provide patient education on MRI procedures and risks.
