Monitor Technician

The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse patient population.The successful Monitor Technician must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field and be a Registered Cardiac Monitor Technician (RCMT). This position requires the individual to be familiar with cardiac monitoring devices and cardiac rhythms, and have the ability to recognize any anomalies or changes in the patient’s cardiac rhythm. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and record cardiac rhythms of patients.
2. Educate and inform patients and families about cardiac monitoring procedures.
3. Recognize and report any abnormalities or changes in patient’s cardiac rhythm.
4. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of patient data.
5. Follow all HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
6. Maintain patient records accurately and efficiently.
7. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all assigned duties.
8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
9. Assist with patient care and medical procedures as needed.
10. Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure patient needs are met.
