Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory testing procedures accurately and efficiently in the Microbiology setting.
2. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
3. Assist in training new employees on laboratory procedures.
4. Develop and implement quality control methods and procedures.
5. Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary.
6. Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results.
7. Adhere to all safety and laboratory regulations.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
9. Evaluate and interpret laboratory results and provide accurate documentation.
10. Provide technical support to other laboratory staff and other departments.
