Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or Related Field: A Primary Qualification For A Medical Technologist, Generalist Job At Baptist Health South Florida Is Having A Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt): Applicants Must Hold A Valid And Current Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Certifying Agency, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Techniques: A Successful Candidate For This Role Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Techniques, Including But Not Limited To, Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry, And Immunohematology.
Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Laboratory Setting: Baptist Health South Florida Prefers Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Laboratory Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Handle A Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Work Environment.
