The ideal candidate should have exceptional interpersonal, organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of medical terminology and the ability to interact with physicians, nurses, patients and families.Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program, certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants, and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical and administrative support to medical staff in a variety of healthcare settings.
2. Maintain a high level of patient-focused care and service.
3. Utilize medical terminology when interacting with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
4. Maintain patient records and provide administrative support to medical staff.
5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during all interactions.
6. Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
7. Assist with scheduling of appointments and other related duties.
8. Monitor and order medical supplies as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
