Job Description

We are currently seeking an LPN for our Inpatient Med/Surg unit on 4 East Tower. This is a full-time position with a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing excellent benefits and a supportive work environment.   1. Provide compassionate care: The LPN will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in the Inpatient Med/Surg unit, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  2. Administer medications and treatments: The LPN will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, following proper protocols and procedures.
  3. Monitor patient progress: The LPN will be responsible for monitoring and documenting patient progress, including vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in condition.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: The LPN will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: The LPN will follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  6. Educate patients and families: The LPN will educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote positive outcomes.
  7. Maintain accurate records: The LPN will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients under their care.
  8. Support and assist physicians: The LPN will provide support and assistance to physicians during procedures and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  9. Provide emotional support: The LPN will provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times, showing empathy and compassion.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends: The LPN will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures: The LPN will adhere to all company policies and procedures, including code of conduct, confidentiality, and patient privacy.
  12. Participate in team meetings and trainings: The LPN will actively participate in team meetings and trainings to stay updated and improve skills and knowledge.
  13. Maintain a positive work environment: The LPN will maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and collaboration with colleagues

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License In The State Of Florida.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Inpatient Setting, Preferably In A Medical/Surgical Unit.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical/Surgical Procedures And Treatments.

  • Ability To Work Full-Time Hours, Including Rotating Shifts And Weekends.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
