Lab Technical Aide

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lab Technical Aide to join our team at Baptist Health South Florida. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent) and a Medical Assistant Certification. Previous experience in a lab setting is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:

1. Assist medical staff in performing laboratory tests and other procedures, including specimen collection, specimen processing, and laboratory equipment maintenance.
2. Ensure accurate test results and data entry, as well as effectively communicate and document the results.
3. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
4. Monitor and adhere to laboratory safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
5. Assist with inventory control and stocking of laboratory supplies.
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable laboratory and regulatory standards.
7. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
8. Provide support to laboratory personnel in the form of administrative duties.
9. Other duties as assigned.
