- Act as a primary point of contact for international patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their healthcare journey.
- Coordinate all aspects of international patient care, including scheduling appointments, arranging transportation and accommodations, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international patients, including medical history, billing information, and insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless and efficient care for international patients.
- Provide culturally sensitive support and assistance to patients and families, addressing any language or cultural barriers that may arise.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective communication and resolution of any concerns or issues.
- Assist with the coordination of necessary medical procedures, tests, and treatments for international patients.
- Stay current on international healthcare regulations and requirements, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Educate international patients and their families on the resources and services available at Baptist Health South Florida.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon the international patient services program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new strategies to enhance the patient experience.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, International Business, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In International Patient Services Or Medical Tourism.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Patients From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds.
Strong Knowledge Of International Healthcare Policies, Regulations, And Procedures.
Proficiency In A Second Language, Preferably Spanish, French, Or Portuguese.
