Imaging Technical Assistant

We are currently seeking an Imaging Technical Assistant to join our team. As an Imaging Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the imaging department, including setting up and operating imaging equipment, performing patient exams, and providing patient care.The ideal candidate for this position will have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, experience operating medical imaging equipment, and a valid state license in Radiography. Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines.
2. Perform patient exams in accordance with standard medical protocols.
3. Provide patient care and support, including explaining procedures and answering any questions.
4. Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
6. Maintain and repair imaging equipment as necessary.
7. Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
9. Follow infection control protocols.
10. Monitor and document radiation safety protocols.
