Endoscopy Technician

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking an experienced and motivated Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding care and will be a team player with a positive attitude.To excel in this role, the Endoscopy Technician must have a minimum of two years of experience in an endoscopy setting and have completed an accredited program for endoscopy technician training. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in infection control, patient safety, and various endoscopy equipment. The Endoscopy Technician must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities: • Provide excellent care to patients in an endoscopy setting • Follow infection control guidelines and ensure patient safety • Maintain knowledge of endoscopy equipment and procedures • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor • Follow safety guidelines and procedures • Follow all HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines • Ensure that the endoscopy equipment is in proper working order • Maintain records of patient care and treatment • Ensure that patient privacy is maintained at all times
