Endoscopy Technician

Responsibilities of an Endoscopy Technician:

1. Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
2. Prepare and sterilize endoscopy equipment and supplies.
3. Ensure that all endoscopy procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards.
4. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
5. Prepare patients for endoscopy procedures by providing pre-procedure instructions and assessments.
6. Monitor patients during and after endoscopic procedures.
7. Document and maintain patient records and procedure results.
8. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
10. Provide patient education regarding endoscopy procedures.
