1. Lead and manage a team of dining services staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
2. Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines.
3. Develop and maintain menus that meet dietary and nutritional needs of patients and adhere to facility guidelines.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, and place orders as needed.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate specific dietary restrictions and nutrition plans.
6. Oversee the preparation, presentation, and delivery of meals to patients, ensuring high quality and timely service.
7. Manage budget and expenses related to dining services, making cost-effective decisions.
8. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, their families, and other healthcare staff.
9. Continuously evaluate and improve dining services processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
10. Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and other departments to ensure smooth operation of dining services.
11. Handle and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to dining services.
