Job Description

Baptist Health South Florida is looking for an experienced, compassionate Customer Care Agent to join our team. As part of our customer care team, you will provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, as well as other members of the healthcare team. You will answer inquiries, explain policies, and assist with scheduling, billing, and other related tasks.The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service in a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. A personable and professional manner, along with the ability to work as part of a team, are essential qualities for this position. Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to patient and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Assist patients and their families with scheduling, billing, and other tasks.
  3. Explain healthcare policies and procedures to customers.
  4. Process customer payments and maintain accurate records.
  5. Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  7. Identify customer needs and respond accordingly.
  8. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
  9. Maintain a positive attitude and work as part of a team.
  10. Remain up to date on new policies and procedures.
  11. Utilize Microsoft Office programs to complete necessary tasks.
