Compliance Auditor

At Baptist Health South Florida, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Auditor to join our team and ensure that all of our operations and financial activities are compliant with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in a compliance-related role. Additionally, you must be an organized and proactive self-starter with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Finally, you must have a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and be able to identify, evaluate and mitigate compliance risks.If you are an experienced Compliance Auditor and have the skills and qualifications outlined above, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in all financial and operational activities
2. Develop and implement appropriate audits and other risk assessment processes
3. Monitor compliance with laws and regulations
4. Analyze and evaluate financial and operational processes to identify areas of risk and non-compliance
5. Investigate suspicious activities and transactions
6. Create and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance
7. Prepare detailed audit reports and compliance summaries
8. Provide compliance training and guidance to staff
9. Stay up to date with changes in compliance regulations
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation
