Clinical Support Technician

At Baptist Health South Florida, we are looking for a Clinical Support Technician to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our patients. Our ideal candidate is a motivated, passionate, and experienced individual with the qualifications and skills necessary to provide optimal support to our clinical staff. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care.The Clinical Support Technician will be responsible for assisting the clinical staff in providing quality patient care in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate must have experience in the medical field and be knowledgeable in medical terminology, as well as understanding of patient rights and responsibilities. The Clinical Support Technician must also be able to multi-task and manage a variety of tasks in a timely manner. They must also be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work well with others. Finally, they must have a valid Florida driver’s license and current CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clinical staff in providing quality patient care in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Knowledgeable in medical terminology and understanding of patient rights and responsibilities.
3. Multi-task and manage a variety of tasks in a timely manner.
4. Excellent communicator and have the ability to work well with others.
5. Ensure that patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
6. Follow established departmental policies and procedures.
7. Maintain accurate records of patient data.
8. Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
9. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the clinical staff.
10. Assist in patient transportation and movement.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
12. Maintain current CPR certification and valid Florida Driver's License.
