- Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional and compassionate patient care in acute care units.
- Monitor patient vital signs, record and report any changes or concerns to healthcare team.
- Assist with patient assessments and procedures under the direction of a nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and lifting as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with support and education.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Serve as a positive and professional representative of Baptist Health South Florida.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities in the fast-paced acute care environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare team.
Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Completion Of An Accredited Acute Care Technician Training Program.
Current Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Emergency Medical Technician (Emt).
At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
