1. Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional and compassionate patient care in acute care units.
2. Monitor patient vital signs, record and report any changes or concerns to healthcare team.
3. Assist with patient assessments and procedures under the direction of a nurse or physician.
4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare team.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
7. Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and lifting as needed.
8. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with support and education.
10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
12. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Baptist Health South Florida.
13. Continuously strive to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the team.

15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
