As a Vascular Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions for our patients.   1. Conduct diagnostic tests: Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, Doppler imaging, and plethysmography to assess vascular conditions and identify potential issues.
  2. Collaborate with medical team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to analyze test results and provide accurate and timely reports for diagnosis and treatment.
  3. Monitor patient progress: Monitor and record patient vital signs and assist in tracking their progress throughout treatment.
  4. Educate patients: Explain procedures, answer any questions, and provide education on vascular conditions and treatment options to patients and their families.
  5. Maintain equipment: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to provide accurate test results.
  6. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  7. Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation of test results for future reference.
  8. Continuously improve skills: Keep up-to-date with new techniques and procedures in the field of vascular technology, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  9. Provide compassionate care: Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and excellent bedside manner towards patients and their families during all interactions.
  10. Uphold organizational values: Represent the values and mission of Baptist Health by providing exceptional healthcare services and maintaining a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Or Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Credential From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or Equivalent.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Vascular Technician, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Various Vascular Diagnostic Procedures And Equipment, Including Ultrasound, Doppler, And Other Imaging Modalities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
