Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Utilization Management & Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilization management and compliance, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Utilization Management & Compliance Manager will lead the team in developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate must have a current RN licensure in Kentucky, a bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field, and at least five years of experience in utilization management. In addition, they must be a strong leader, have a track record of successfully working with multiple departments, and be able to quickly and accurately assess a situation and develop solutions. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  2. Oversee utilization management services and compliance activities
  3. Monitor utilization management performance and provide feedback and guidance
  4. Act as a liaison between utilization management and other departments as needed
  5. Train and mentor utilization management staff
  6. Ensure quality of services and documentation are maintained
  7. Analyze data related to utilization management and compliance activities
  8. Monitor new and existing regulations and ensure compliance
  9. Develop and review reports and presentations for utilization management and compliance
  10. Participate in committees, task forces, and meetings as needed
