Job Description

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Sterile Process Technician who is committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in a sterile processing environment and be certified by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM). You must also have knowledge of aseptic technique and high-level disinfection. In addition, you should possess superior communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure standards of patient care are upheld in the sterile processing environment.
  2. Maintain a high-level of organization and attention to detail.
  3. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure an efficient and effective sterile processing environment.
  4. Utilize aseptic technique and high-level disinfection.
  5. Communicate effectively with other healthcare personnel.
  6. Troubleshoot and problem solve as needed.
  7. Provide the highest quality of care to patients.
  8. Maintain certification by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM).
