Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team! As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will also provide instruction and advice to patients and their families in order to support better speech and swallowing skills.We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about helping others. To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in the state of Kentucky. You must also have excellent interpersonal skills, strong clinical knowledge, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and diagnose speech and swallowing disorders in patients.
  2. Develop and implement individual treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  3. Provide instruction and advice to patients and their families to support better speech and swallowing skills.
  4. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
  6. Develop and implement individual education plans for patients and their families.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  8. Comply with all state and federal regulations related to practice.
  9. Follow ethical and legal standards of practice.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
