
Speech Language Pathologist
At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we are looking for an exceptional Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and be an integral part of the patient care experience. Our Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing a high level of patient-centered care to a wide range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric.The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a strong understanding of the medical field, and excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.We require a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and current certification. In addition, the successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a health care setting, with experience in neurological, pediatric, and/or geriatric populations preferred.At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we strive to create a positive and supportive environment for our staff and patients. Responsibilities:
• Provide a high level of patient-centered care to a wide range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders • Utilize a variety of therapies, such as speech-language pathology, swallowing therapy, and speech-language therapy • Perform assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders • Manage and document patient progress and treatment goals • Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care • Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders and treatment options • Maintain up-to-date records of patient care • Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of speech-language pathology
