1. Coordinate and manage specialty medication therapies for patients.
2. Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper and timely administration of specialty medications.
3. Monitor and track patient medication adherence and provide necessary interventions.
4. Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and other pertinent information.
5. Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations and ensure coverage for specialty medications.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
