In this role, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional care and service to our patients. As a Special Procedures Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and assist in various procedures, ensuring the accurate and safe diagnosis and treatment of our patients.   1. Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  2. Assist physicians in performing various procedures, including but not limited to angiograms, biopsies, and catheterizations.
  3. Ensure the accuracy and safety of all procedures by following established protocols and protocols set by the physician.
  4. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
  5. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization of equipment and supplies.
  7. Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide the highest quality of care for patients.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  10. Maintain continuing education and stay updated on the latest advancements in the field to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.
  12. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  14. Adhere to Baptist Health's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Current Arrt Certification In Special Procedures.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In Special Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology Related To Special Procedures.

  • Ability To Operate And Maintain Specialized Equipment Used In Special Procedures, Such As Fluoroscopy Machines And Digital Imaging Systems.
