- Utilize expertise in pharmacy informatics to improve patient care and medication processes.
- Develop and implement informatics solutions to optimize medication management and workflow.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to identify and address medication-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacy informatics and train staff on new systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmacy informatics.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of new pharmacy technology.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and efficiency of informatics systems.
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare departments to improve overall patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in pharmacy informatics.
- Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy department and IT team to address any technical issues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Central Pharmacy department.

Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited Institution: This Role Requires A Strong Foundation In Pharmacy Education To Effectively Manage And Analyze Medication Data And Systems Remotely.
Active Pharmacist Licensure In The State Of Kentucky: In Order To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of Kentucky, The Remote Informatics Pharmacist Specialist Must Hold A Valid And Current State License.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Informatics Or Pharmacy Informatics: This Position Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Clinical And Pharmacy Workflows, As Well As Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems And Medication Management Systems.
Expertise In Medication Safety And Quality Improvement: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In Analyzing Medication-Related Data And Implementing Strategies To Improve Medication Safety And Overall Quality Of Care.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Remote Pharmacist, The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Healthcare Providers And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team To Implement Informatics Initiatives And Resolve Medication-Related Issues.
