Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse for our Maternal Fetal Medicine team. This role requires an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine commitment to providing excellent patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized care and support to pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies and their families.The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and with a team, have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and have a minimum of two years of experience in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required, and a Master’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery is preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialized care and support to pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies and their families.
  2. Work independently and collaboratively with the Maternal Fetal Medicine team.
  3. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles and practices of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  5. Maintain current certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (preferred).
  6. Keep up-to-date on the latest developments in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests as ordered by the physician.
  9. Educate and counsel patients and families on the pregnancy and delivery process.
  10. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
